Geubae Yang (b.1995) is a Seoul-based artist, exhibition planner, and coordinator.
Yang’s work explores mediating forces that bridge reality and the ideal, engaging with elements that can be mythical, religious, scientific, pseudoscientific, or even cult-like. By examining the diverse belief systems that shape human perception, Yang navigates the boundaries between reason and transcendence, presence and absence. Yang’s inquiry extends beyond the dichotomy of life and death, delving into the possibilities that may lie beyond, and questioning the limits of human cognition and reality itself.
